Questions to ask before buying an Autonome set of weigh-forks

1.

What is the maximum lifting capacity of the truck - this will determine the capacity of the weigh-forks. Do not use weigh-forks of a weighing capacity less than the lifting capacity of the truck, otherwise it may be possible that you will overload and damage the weigh-forks

2.

Do you want the weight display to be on the top of the forks or in the cab?
If you want the weight display in the cab, then you have the choice to connect the work-forks to the weight display by a radio-frequency link (no cables) or by cables.  Please note that the cabling can be costly on triple-mast systems.
3.

What is the length of the forks required?  The standard Autonome weigh-forks length is 1150 mm
4.
Note the thickness of the weigh-forks are thicker than normal forks. Is this a problem?
5.
Is the carriage-plate an FEM2 or FEM3 carriage plate?
6.

Note that the weigh-forks sit on the carriage plate and any existing guard on the carriage plate may need replacing
