THE BEGINNING Nova Weigh was created in 1980 when a small specialist company was set up to build customised industrial weighing equipment. | IMPLEMENTATION Having the skills is one thing, but successfully putting them to work is another. That is why we assign a Contract Manager to every project. The role of the Contract Manager is to bring together and co-ordinate the engineering and manufacturing disciplines required for each job. Often, customers have a demanding programme requiring the supply of documentation and drawings to allow other work to be dovetailed into an overall schedule. The Contract Manager will make sure that the right information is available at the right time and in the correct format. |
ON-SITE SUPPORT Implementation does not finish with the delivery of a fully working system to the customer. Nova Weigh has one of the largest teams of trained site engineers. Their skills cover the installation and commissioning of the equipment, but they don't stop there. They also provide lifetime support for Nova Weigh equipment and systems. This includes the regular calibration of weighing equipment using traceable reference standards, and all work is carried out according to ISO 9001 accredited procedures. |
| DESIGN EXPERTISE Whatever the application, we will want to start with a full understanding of your particular needs. Nova Weigh sales application engineers are trained to listen carefully to customers' requirements and not just propose catalogue solutions which may turn out later to be unsuitable If the project demands it, a specialist engineer will be brought in at an early stage. For example, there may be mechanical considerations which require detailed attention or perhaps one of Nova Weigh's system engineers will need to study your plant operation before process automation proposals can be made. Whether the problem is mechanical engineering, electrical design or software development, Nova Weigh has the in-house expertise to provide a solution.
