HAZARDOUS AREAS

Instrumentation for use in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries has to be compatible with hazardous areas. We understand the regulations and the means of protection (EEx I, EEx p, EEx d etc) and, what is just as important, we have the experience to select the ones which are the most suitable for your application. The Nova Weigh system engineers will take account of all the parameters, (Zones, Gas Groups and Temperature Classes) before offering a solution wich will satisfy your needs as well as meeting international standards.

INSTRUMENTATION AND OPEN CONNECTIVITY

Customers nowadays are looking increasingly for integration of all their instrumentation and measuring systems to enable data to be made available for production automation, management reporting and quality control purposes. Connectivity is a key issue here and Nova Weigh has responded with the 4000 series. These instruments offer the very latest standards of accuracy and ease of use, but they also have another equally valuable strength - simple integration with automation systems, DCSs and PLCs through industry standard communication protocols.

DATA CAPTURE AND PROCESS AUTOMATION

Whatever the form of weighing selected, the results need to be collected and put to work. This is the job of the Nova Weigh Systems Group. They have the knowledge to tailor a solution to suit your data capture or automation requirements.

A system can be a low-cost Recipe Controller or a total Batch Management System incorporating SCADA functions with production scheduling and stock control. If yours is a regulated process, like pharmaceuticals, you will probably need to talk to us about validation and we will be able to provide you with documentation to help with your procedures.
